I'm gonna talk to you guys about music, but more in particular, my favourite song, which is Ghetto Gospel. First of all, It's made by Eminem, but who sings is 2pac and Elton John. At it's release, 2pac was already dead, and you're going to be wondering: How is it possible? If he's dead, How is he singing? Well, to see how much important 2pac was you must take notice at little details like, other famous rappers grab 2pac's quotes from songs that aren't released yet, or from interviews, etc... and put them together to make that glorious song. When I listen to it, I feel the struggle of his life, i see the struggle from people who live in the ghetto; resuming, my eyes get open, to a brand new world, and Elton John's chorus with the piano it's just, FANTASTIC.
The video begins with a lady crying over the dead body of her son, which just got shot during a "drive by".After that, the whole song, is a flashback, witnessing the boy's last day.
Elton John's Chorus: Those who whish to follow me
I Welcome with my hands
And the red sun sinks at last, into the hills of gold
And peace to this young warrior, without the sound of guns
·Aquellos que me intenten seguir
Les acogeré con mis manos
Y porfin el sol rojo se hunde, en las colinas de oro
Y paz a este joven guerrero, sin el ruido de las armas
I would like to share some quotes from the song before i go:
It ain't about black and white cause we're human, I hope we see the light before it's ruined
·No se trata sobre blanco y negro porque somos humanos, espero que veamos la luz antes de que se arruine·
If I upset you, don't stress, never forget, that god hasn't finished with me yet.
Si te decepciono, no te preocupes, nunca olvides que dios aún no ha terminado conmigo
Before we found the world peace, we gotta find peace and end the war in the streets
Antes de encontrar la paz mundial, tenemos que encontrar la paz y acabar con la guerra en las calles.
